This summer Zagreb is filled with various events that will satisfy everyone’s tastes. Street parties, concerts, a variety of food and drinks and fun programs will surely brighten up summer evenings. For you, we’ve listed five Zagreb events in July that you should not miss.
1. ZAGREB CLASSIC
Music lovers will be thrilled with this wonderful festival of classical outdoor music. The place under Zagreb sky has been found by many esteemed performers and artists who love music and enjoy sharing it with their audience.
The festival takes place in the center of the city – on King Tomislav Square, and will last until July 09th. You can find a detailed performance program on the Facebook page of the festival.
2. SUMMER WITH MATOŠ
In the summer months, Upper Town dresses up for summer and turns into a place everyone would like to visit. The Strossmayer promenade from 19 July to 01 September will bring a new summer experience to Zagreb. Themed by the old Zagreb beach, the promenade offers a wide range of entertainment – street bands performances, stand-up comedy, comfortable deck chairs and parasols as well as delicious food and beverage offerings which is the perfect choice for evening outings.
3. COURTYARDS
In hidden, undiscovered corners of the most beautiful capital, from July 12th, the favourite manifestation of many – The Courtyards – will begin.
Get behind the facades of some of the most beautiful town houses and palaces and discover the whole new world of Zagreb. Apart from being able to enjoy a variety of delicious snacks and refresh yourself with the perfect drinks, you’ll be able to enjoy the rhythms of urban music. 4. STROSSMARTRE
This summer, the Upper Town will also enhance the event called Strossmartre. It is a 100-day outdoor festival where daily concerts, performances as well as numerous artistic and fun activities guarantee a good entertainment. 5. POP UP SUMMER GARDEN
If you thought that Zagreb did not have oasis in the middle of the city, you were wrong! Pop Up Summer Garden is a perfect place in the refreshing shade of the forest at Tuškanac. In this urban jungle you can meet with a multitude of music, events, creative art and floral installations and a large selection of food and drinks until September 14th.
